Budget
How much does it cost?
This depends on why you want to start learning to fly. Do you want to fly for recreational reasons or do you aim to have a career as a pilot?
If you just want to fly for fun, we'd recommend the Recreational Pilot's Certificate and can provide you will the training you need.
The Recreational Pilot's Licence (RPL) forms the foundation for all subsequent CASA licences. Gaining your RPL enables you to fly in the local area with certain restrictions.
After completing the RPL, you can progress to the Private Pilot's Licence (PPL). If you want to fly for fun or as a means of getting yourself around for your business, this is the licence for you.
If you want to pursue a career as a pilot, you will need to complete the Commercial Pilot's Licence (CPL). This enables you to seek employment as a pilot within Australia.
