The Cessna 172 is a good stepping stone before flying the larger Cessna aircraft that are common among rural aviation communities and charter operations.
The Cessna 182 is a versatile aircraft that's at home operating into remote airstrips as it is conducting scenic flights, making it an ideal 'real world' commercial trainer.
All of our aircraft are available for wet hire once you're a member of our club or a student. Please send us an email or give us a call to find out our latest rates on aircraft for ab-initio, dual, solo and private hire.
Club aircraft are available for wet hire at the rates about and subject to approval by the Head of Operations.
Private Hire
You need to be a DDAC member to private hire aircraft. All hirers are required to read and agree to DDAC's 'Conditions of Hire'.
Training
Dual training is at clock time (VDO). Six-monthly checks are at the solo rates calculated at VDO time. Maximum time allowed at this rate is 30 minutes. If further dual training is required, this will be at normal dual rate.
Cessna R182
Extra conditions of hire for the Cessna R182:
The Head of Operations may require or allow an increase or decrease on the standard hire conditions.
